Lathsaw Road Mobile Home Fire On the evening of April 17, 2025 at 2139 hours, the LFC along with mutual aid from Royersford and Ridge Fire Companies were dispatched to the 800 Block of Latshaw Road for the mobile home fire. While responding the initial notes indicated a possible heater explosion with fire from a neighbor’s home. East Vincent Police arrived and advised that the home was fully engulfed and all residents were accounted for. Engine 63 made the response in under 3 minutes and arrived 3 minutes later. A working fire dispatch was requested adding an additional Engine, RIT, & EMS. Engine 63 laid a supply line from Pennhurst/Latshaw Roads and then deployed (2) 1-3/4” attack lines. Shortly after, Ladder 63 & Montco Engine 98 arrived and supplemented the initial crew. Due to the structure being unstable, crews were in defensive firefighting mode. Crews quickly contained the fire in 12 minutes with an extensive overhaul to be completed. Crews operated for just over 2-1/2 hours before clearing the scene. Thank you to Limerick Fire Department for covering the twin boroughs while units operated at this incident.
