Tonight Engine and Traffic 63 along with 7 personnel attended the Spring City Borough Christmas Tree Lighting at the Spring City library hosted by the Spring City Parks and Recreation Committee. While the people waited for Santa to arrive they enjoyed hot chocolate and snacks and boarded a bus to tour the Borough homes and their decorations. Then it was time the Spring City Police Department escorted the horse and buggy with Santa into the lot where he was met with plenty of smiles from the kids and counted down as the tree was lit. Santa then went into the Library were the families stood with the kids as they got to talk to Santa with plenty of pictures taken. Great job by the Parks and Recreation Department.
